At the moment we are looking for a Backend Developer position to drive forward our Services and Development teams.
Position: Backend Developer
Type of work: Full-time
Reporting to: Technical Lead
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, code, test and debug new software;
- Use software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum…);
- Work closely with business partners and technical teams to create technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements;
- Estimate timeline for assigned tasks and ensure that work is completed with the estimate given;
- Deliver projects on time and with the highest quality;
- Provide support for business inquiries, problem resolutions, and research requests;
- Prioritize and handle multiple concurrent projects and efforts;
- Accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; making clear, specific commitments to deliver results;
- Technical level documentation;
- Workload planning and reporting to technical leaders.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience
- Technology/language: Java, Javascript
- Proficient in English
- Results-oriented, and works with a sense of urgency. Assertive, responsible for his/her own work (self-directed), have a strong affinity for defining work in deliverables, and be willing to commit to deadlines
- Focused and versatile team-player that is comfortable under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Highly-motivated, be able to corporate with other members
