About the job
What it means to be a Business Analytics Consultant at Trueson
As a Business Analytics Consultant at Trueson, you have the important responsibility to transform complex business issues into concrete solutions. In doing so, you are a true data wizard who is able to create the coolest algorithms and/or visualisations.
You will be working for a global company with customers all over the world. We work on projects from different countries (the Netherlands, France, and Vietnam). Our clients vary from multinationals and pharmaceutical companies to financial service providers and government institutions.
Our approach is characterised by a clear vision and method combined with an Agile approach. Understanding the business is paramount in all activities we perform. In your role, you are able to convert user requirements into state-of-the-art products that are of real use to our customers. With dashboards and reports, data (structured and unstructured) is transformed into information that exactly meets the requirements of our customers. This information is visualised on the basis of storytelling. Such a visual story is very important to bring your data to life. We process information much better through images than when we only see dry facts and figures.
You can fulfill the role of a Data Analyst, Storyteller, or Data Scientist in the most interesting client cases. You will be involved with these cases from the start and will often have the lead. You make sure that everyone is wowed by the products you deliver. Having to switch from business to technology and vice versa comes naturally to you.

You are…
You are an enthusiastic person with a healthy sense of humour and passion for the job. Solving puzzles? Bring it on! No problem for you, as you have strong analytical skills. You are also able to communicate clearly on complex issues. In Dutch or in English. Because you master these languages, both orally and in writing.
You have…
- A minimum of two years’ work experience and graduated at college or university level
- A minimum of 2 years experience developing visualisations in Power BI, Tableau, or SAS VA / Viya
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure / Synapse and SAS Viya (a plus)
- Knowledge of R, Python, Spark, Scala, Hadoop, Hbase, MongoDB, AeroSpike, AWS, Tensorflow, Matlab (a plus)
